The residency aims to provide an experiential exploration of the territory, using the body and its relationship with nearby spaces as a starting point. Research will then begin at the school, identifying and mapping the boundaries of the neighbourhood's urban land, and gradually broadening the scope of interrelationships throughout the city of Lleida. Various actions, including walking and cartography understood as artistic practices, will be used to delve into the memory and different substrates that make up the sites. Architecture and rubble will be considered, and structures, images and meanings will be constructed and deconstructed in equal measure. Similarly, participants will be encouraged to observe their everyday surroundings, paying attention to aspects that might otherwise go unnoticed, looking at the familiar with a new perspective and creating spaces conducive to dialogue and reflection. Everything will take place in the context of participatory processes that promote experimentation, research, collective creation and collaborative learning.
