Description of the work

The three interventions carried out were small, poetic and subtle gestures performed on the furniture, railings and rails of the Institut La Guineueta. These small but forceful interventions were camouflaged in the school environment and took on the colour of all the rest of the iron materials found in the school: the dark crimson colour that, at the same time, inspired the project’s name.

The three interventions were presented to the school accompanied by a small temporary installation of sketches, collages and Polaroid photographs that showed snapshots of the work process.

The interventions were signposted with a poster which included all the information on the project.

Presentation

The exhibition was presented on Friday, 31 May at 1.45 pm at the school. It was based on a journey through the various intervened spaces and a temporary exhibition of works produced over the course of the project. Students and creators explained the work process and the various interventions, as did the teachers who had supported the process.

The presentation was attended by friends, family members, teachers and representatives from the ICUB and people from the world of culture.
