Pep Vidal IN RESiDENCE at the School Costa i Llobera

The LAMBEGBPAOLTJRI hut

La cabana LAMBEGBPAOLTJRI [The LAMBEGBPAOLTJRI hut]
Several huts made of grass, wood, clothing, plastic.
Various sizes

La cabana LAMBEGBPAOLTJRI [The LAMBEGBPAOLTJRI hut] comprises several huts. There is the crater hut, built by digging a hole that was later lined with grass, and then there are the structured huts, made from wooden sticks and clothing or plastic, depending on the design. Together, these huts form a series of different places for thinking. The site chosen for this project, at the foot of the Collserola Natural Park, very close to the school, was chosen precisely because it commanded views of the city while being an isolated spot, ideal for thought and meditation.

Presentation
The final work was presented on June 9 in the open-air space where the huts had been installed. The coordinates of the site (41 24' 6.50" 2 6' 27.55") were announced, with the note that this was a place not far from Institut Costa i Llobera secondary school, from which the entrance was signposted. There, the pupils, with the artist Pep Vidal and the participating teachers, explained the creative process and described certain key moments in the course. The presentation was attended by friends and families of the pupils, teachers from the school, representatives from ICUB, Barcelona Education Consortium and people linked to the world of culture.
