Following the residences of Ivan Morales, in December, Magda Puig, Carla Farreny and Marta Vilardell as well as Raquel Cors and Carlota Grau; the Dolors Aleu Secondary School (in Navas, Sant Andreu) takes part in the iN RESiDENCE programme for the sixth consecutive time; once again, with 2nd-year students and consolidates links to contemporary creation in performing arts.

 /

The Institut Joan Fuster, as the school was previously called, was created in 1995, adopting the name of one of the most prominent Valencian intellectuals of the 20th century. It occupies the old building of the Juan Bosco School, next to the characteristic church of the same name designed  by the architects Ricard Sancho Beltran and Francesc Escudero Ribot in the mid-1970s on Avenida Meridiana. In 2022, the community of this school decided to change the name of the educational centre, adopting the name Dolors Aleu. A doctor specialising in paediatrics and gynaecology, Dolors Aleu i Riera (Barcelona, 1857 - 1913), was the first woman to be licensed in medicine in the whole of Spain. She was also the second woman to obtain the Doctor of Medicine degree.
