Milena Rossignoli (Quito, Ecuador, 1990)
Milena Rossignoli studied at the Design and Research in Visual Arts Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna (2012–2016), the Painting Department of the Weißensee Academy of Art in Berlin (2015) and the Sculpture Department of the Escola Massana School of Art and Design in Barcelona (2014).
Recently, she has received awards and grants for research and artistic residencies in Barcelona, Rome, Bilbao, Madrid, San Sebastián, and Bologna. Here are some of the most recent ones: Barcelona Producció (Barcelona, 2025), Generaciones 2024 at La Casa Encendida (Madrid, 2024), Hangar.org (Barcelona, 2023-2025), Tabakalera (San Sebastián, 2020) and the RAER Royal Academy of Spain in Rome (Rome, 2017-2018).

School Jaume Botey
agora.xtec.cat/insjaumeboteyInstitut Jaume Botey (Santa Eulàlia, L'Hospitalet de Llobregat) is taking part in EN RESiDÈNCiA for the first time. The school is named after Jaume Botey, who was the City Council's Councillor for Education from 1979 to 1983 and was responsible for founding the Centre d'Estudis de L'Hospitalet and promoting adult education schools, among other achievements.
It is a recently created school (2018-2019) that provides secondary and sixth-form education. Deeply rooted in the neighbourhood, it champions and promotes its students' comprehensive and emotional development through co-teaching and project-based work.
The school is right next to the Sant Josep Cultural Centre (formerly the Sant Josep Cultural Hall, one of the first multi-purpose public cultural centres in the province of Barcelona) and the Tecla Sala Cultural Centre (Art Centre, Central Library, Centre for Studies of L'Hospitalet, TPK - Contemporary Art and Thought and the Arranz-Bravo Foundation), Institut Jaume Botey is located in an area with a high density of cultural facilities.
