Kernel Dance Theatre: Junyi Sun, (Valencia, 1987), Alma Steiner (Helsinki, 1990) and Marina Miguel (Castelldefels, 1994)

Founded by Junyi Sun, Alma Steiner and Marina Miguel, the group is known for its members' diversity and plurality of disciplines and origins. We have extensive experience and background knowledge working in different educational projects, including workshops for young people at risk of social exclusion, workshops in different primary and secondary schools and dance workshops for performing arts high school students. All this has given us the opportunity to develop a deep understanding about the educational sphere and has motivated us to continue exploring new ways of transmitting the performing arts to young people.

After residencies with Gerard Guix and Montse Rodríguez, Jaume Pitarch, Big Bouncers, Pau Miró, Perifèria (Núria Guiu and Pau Milla), Julia Spínola, Marc Vives, Victoria Szpunberg and UNAIUNA, this is the third time that the Moisès Broggi School (el Camp de l'Arpa del Clot, Sant Martí) has taken part in IN RESiDENCE. This year, the school is taking part with a group of 4th year secondary school students.

In 2011, Institut Moisès Broggi launched a major educational reform, structuring its programme around project-based learning with a focus on art. Collaboration with local and municipal institutions such as MACBA, Teatre Sala Beckett and Hospital de Sant Pau, among others, gives the school a special edge.
