School La Sedeta
https://agora.xtec.cat/ieslasedeta/This is the second time in a row that the La Sedeta School (Camp d'en Grassot, Gràcia) has taken part in IN RESiDENCE. The first edition hosted the creative process of Irena Visa, with the mediation of the Fundació Joan Miró de Barcelona and A Bao A Qu. In this edition, a group of 4th year secondary school students is taking part in the programme.

The school is housed in the former Pujol y Casacuberta textile factory, known as La Sedeta due to its production of silk fabrics, which shut down in 1975. At that time, intense pressure from local residents led the City Council to expropriate the land occupied by the factory, halting the urban development project for a bank and initiating the current community facilities project. The factory complex, which is part of the city of Barcelona's catalogue of listed sites, currently houses Escola La Sedeta, Institut La Sedeta (opened in 1983) and Centre Cívic La Sedeta.
