Estel Boada IN RESiDENCE at the School Consell de Cent
Estel Boada (Barcelona, 1991)
A singer and multidisciplinary artist, she describes herself as a contextual jester. With a background in Fine Arts, she explores space, collectivity and the voice through performance. Her work, characterised by humour and absurdity with touches of fantasy, offers a tongue-in-cheek reflection on her life as a "frustrated diva".
Interested in experimental education, contextual art, sound, music and drawing, she uses action and humour as tools for social criticism. She has taken part in numerous interdisciplinary art interventions and curated self-organised contemporary art programmes. She is also a composer and vocalist in several musical projects.

Institute Consell de Cent
L’Institut Consell de Cent (el Poble Sec, Sants-Montjuïc) participa per tercera vegada a EN RESIDÈNCIA. Ha acollit a Oriana Eliçabe, en la 14a edició (2022-2023) i a teresa w ･*:｡.｡:*･゜ﾟ･* , en la 17a edició (2025-2026. Enguany, tornen a participar en el programa amb un grup de 4t d’ESO.

Institut Consell de Cent (El Poble Sec, Sants-Montjuïc, Barcelona) opened its doors in the 1996–1997 academic year. Set in a one-of-a-kind, culturally rich urban environment (the Port, Montjuïc, Paral·lel, Drassanes, Jardins de les Tres Chimeneas, Albareda Civic Centre, etc.), Consell de Cent is participating in EN RESiDÈNCiA to strengthen the ties between its educational community and contemporary creation.
