Elena Carvajal and Rafael Frazão are friends and collaborating artists who move between the visual and performing arts, sharing a series of interests related to speculative fiction, the performativity of images, and DIWO (Do It With Others) technologies.

Elena Carvajal, born in Mérida, is a dancer and choreographer who splits her time between Brussels and Barcelona.  Her work ranges from choreography to installation, focusing on the dialogue between the writing of space and movement. In her creations, she explores light, sound, language, and imagination as key elements that contribute to the creation of a landscape. She is passionate about shared practices and magic. She graduated in contemporary dance from the Professional Dance Conservatory of Seville and has a Master's degree in Choreography and Performance from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, ARBA-AQUESTA Brussels, ISAC (Higher Institute of Art and Choreography).  She completed her training in Fascia Therapy at the Body Mind Academy in Belgium. As a performer, she has worked for Gisèle Vienne (Crowd), Daura García (Somewhere, Two Planets Have Been Colliding for Thousands of Years) at LaVerrière, Fondation Hermès, Brussels, and Fabián Barba-Esteban Donoso at the Slugs' Garden Festival Kunstenfestivaldesarts, among others.  Since 2020, she has worked with Fran Martínez, with whom she has created her latest pieces: Realment ara no ja no and Somaficción. She regularly collaborates with RosanayAris and Maite Álvarez.

Rafael Frazão is a Brazilian visual artist and researcher based in Barcelona. He graduated in Image and Sound from the Federal University of São Carlos in Brazil (2008) and completed the Independent Studies Programme at MACBA in Barcelona (PEI - 2019/2021).

He works on projects that combine art, technology, and philosophy, mainly through audiovisual language. He is co-founder of the Casa da Cultura Digital collective, a benchmark in Brazilian technopolitics in the 2010s; he co-created and promoted editions of the Baixo Centro festival, as part of the movement for the right to the city in São Paulo; for years, he coordinated the Tecnoxamanismo Network, a free technology exchange project among indigenous peoples in Brazil. With his production company, Films for Dancing, he has worked on audiovisual and art/technology projects for over 10 years in the city of São Paulo. His artistic research involves creating works, mainly through experimental video and the performing arts, that revolve around themes such as cosmopolitics, multispecies studies, the philosophy of the image, dreams and technopolitics. He has exhibited his work at institutions such as MACBA (Barcelona), La Casa Encesa (Madrid), Arts Santa Mònica (Barcelona), Ars Electronica (Austria) and SESC (São Paulo), among others. He regularly collaborates on training projects, critical teaching methods, workshops and collective processes in the field of contemporary art.
