For the members of this organisation, design does not end with the object, but extends to everything else it entails: the players and people involved in it and the relationship between them and the environment. In other words, they are concerned about - and fascinated by - design understood as a system in which creativity, sustainability, ecological transparency, the social component and promotion of local economic development all play key roles.

The founder-members of Nutcreatives are: Jon Marín, who holds a degree in Biology and a master's degree in Industrial Ecology; and Àlex Jiménez, who has a higher degree in Design and is a technical engineer in Industrial Design, as well as holding a master's degree in Urban Design. Both are teachers at several design faculties and seek to use their creativity and motivation to improve the world around us.
