Mar Arza (Castelló de la Plana, 1976) is torn between literature and visual arts, in a dreamworld where writing merges with sculpture. She reflects on language and turns it into a malleable raw material taken directly from books, which are her source of inspiration and research, far beyond their rigid folding format. Her artistic training is developed in schools, with teachers from Valencia, Pittsburgh, Winchester, Florence and Barcelona.

In her professional career, she regularly collaborates with art galleries and printing houses and she is getting gradually involved with teaching and education.
