Description of the work
Nacer de un trámite is the result of a meeting of two universes, Bruno Ollé's and that of the young people at the Institut Narcís Monturiol. Based on the disorder of this meeting and the creation process itself, the young people embarked on a path of discovery and introspection. At the start, to a certain degree, this discovery stemmed from a lack of certainty, although it also made a commitment to the framework of joint work. From this duplicity, the students and the artist realised that they were making a series of strange gestures and actions, apparently devoid of meaning, whilst also creating something jointly which could perhaps have a new meaning. It was then that the final proposal came about along with the title of the work: undecipherable standards made from shared thoughts and ideas which the students had been formulating in conversations, questionnaires and textual works. These standards were taken through the Montbau neighbourhood by the students themselves, on various joint tours. So, the standards are, on the one hand, a willingness for communication and, on the other, the difficulty or great distance for understanding.
