UNAIUNA

UNAIUNA was created from the artistic interests and symbiosis between Laura Lliteras (Palma de Mallorca, 1991) and Marina Fullana (Palma de Mallorca, 1991).  Both of them have degrees in Choreography and Performance, Classical and Contemporary Dance, and are postgraduates at the IT Dansa company of the Institut del Teatre, under the direction of Catherine Allard. It is within this formal training that their singularity is rooted, working between academic movement combined with deconstruction and the alteration of patterns; and combined with humour, irony, reflection and critical spirit.

Their career began with DOSIS, a street piece that won the Art Jove 2011 and SolodosenDanza awards in 2017. From this point on, they began touring street festivals, a fact that has nurtured their language and their motivation to work the body from a fresh and elegant point of view, where the return of the public is direct. Both work as freelancers with different companies on the current scene: Led Silhouette, Siberia Muñoz, La Veronal and Glòria Balañà, among others. They are also interested in a pedagogical aspect, especially in how dance can enter formal education and transform from pedagogy. La Marina, after finishing her master's degree in cultural management, works as a cultural producer and manager in different national and local projects.

During 2023/2024 they will be immersed in the creation of their new production SCROLL, where they are immersed in technology, artificial intelligence and all the paradigms that this new world opens up.

After the residencies of Gerard Guix and Montse Rodríguez, Jaume Pitarch, Big Bouncers, Pau Miró, Perifèria (Núria Guiu and Pau Milla), Julia Spínola, Marc Vives and Victoria Szpunberg, this is the ninth time that the Institut Moisès Broggi (el Camp de l'Arpa del Clot, Sant Martí) has taken part in EN RESiDÈNCiA. This time, Broggi is participating with a group of students in the fourth year of ESO.

In 2011, the Institut Moisès Broggi embarked on a profound transformation of the centre's educational programme, which is based on project-based work in which art plays a central role. Working in alliance with institutions in the surrounding area and in the city, such as the MACBA, the Sala Beckett and the Hospital de Sant Pau, among others, gives it a special dynamism.
