Marco Noris (Bergamo, Itàlia, 1971)

Marco Noris is a visual artist based in Barcelona. His artwork explores ruins, historical memory, territory, and landscape, using the act of walking as a research tool. He has exhibited in Spain and abroad, and has participated in collective projects and residencies.  Noris is an artist in residence at Piramidón, a contemporary art centre in Barcelona. He is currently developing Cos d'Ebre, a project focused on the relationship between the body and the territory, which reflects on the historical, geographical and symbolic dimension of the Ebro River. Since 2024, his work has been part of the National Contemporary Art Collection of Catalonia.

This is the seventh time in a row that Institut Escola Trinitat Nova (Trinitat Nova, Nou Barris, Barcelona) has taken part in EN RESiDÈNCiA. Previously, it has hosted the creative processes of Isamit Morales, Arnau Sala and Lina Bautista, in collaboration with L'Afluent, and Xesca Salvà, Pato Mena and Pep Vidal, in collaboration with A Bao A Qu. Once again, a group of third-year ESO students is taking part.

Institut Escola Trinitat Nova (IETN) describes itself as a comprehensive educational institution, and is the only school (for children aged 0 to 16) within the wider social and educational facilities and initiatives in the Trinitat Nova neighbourhood. IETN's approach links educational activities with community action, assuming its role as a cultural and educational agent in the neighbourhood's transformation processes.
