Gatillo Culón

A duo formed by Lorena Madurga and Oriol Borràs that explores absurdity through electronic music, the circus, trash music and some other types of digital and analogue media. They met at the “New York Experience 2016.” After a long friendship of five years, they decided to create EL GATO CULÓN over a pack of Donettes one hot summer. Miaow!
Their strength is in their synaesthesia and how they change their look. The main concept of their artistic production is “productive rejection and going below the cut.” Their first album contained just one song, called Aborta una nueva misión (Abort a new mission), the title of both the album and the song. It is rumoured that at the end of 2022 they will publish a second album, with the main motto being: “Trabaja tu culpa en el trabajo” (Don’t feel guilty about work).

Oriol: musician, physicist, astronaut, fireman; he wants to be everything, and now he is a simple “culón”, one of the most appreciated parts of the duo which managed to outshine “Les Bistecs” in the musical scene and who threatens to compete with “Venga Monjas” and even “Rigoberta Bandini” and “Victoria Sickness”. His motto is: “If you want to do something, you can, there’s no excuse, although a little siesta... zzz”

Lorena: Singer, songwriter, ballet and flamenco and dancer. Since she arrived in Barcelona she hasn’t stopped working. Almost a millionaire like Rosalia, she left everything behind to be part of “Gatillo”, one of the most essential parts of the famous duo that threatens to gain all the creation grants offered by the Catalan Government. Her motto is: “The ICUB should start worrying, but yes... a little siesta first.”
